Sprites in Scratch are images that can be created and programmed in the Scratch interface.
These sprites can take the form of objects, characters, animals, etc.
Sprites, in a nutshell, are characters or objects that you create in Scratch. These characters or objects are integrated into your game or application.
Coders can create their own sprites, which can be a tree, animal, or person.
Scratch always starts a new project with a single cat. However, we don’t always want to use chat, and our games and stories will most likely include multiple sprites.
We can add sprites to the scene in one of these ways: paint a new sprite, choose a sprite from the library, or upload a sprite from a file.
In Scratch, creating a sprite is called “painting a sprite”.
The process is simple and can be done by following these steps:
1- Cliquez sur le bouton “choisir un sprite” dans le coin inférieur droit.
2- Click “paint” to open a new sprite. Name the new sprite.
3- Then we can draw the sprite using the drawing tools.
The library gathers all the sprites created by Scratch.
1) Click on the Choose a Sprite .
2) Clicking the “Choose a Sprite” button should take you to the Sprite menu, a library of different sprites you can use in the program.
3) Click on the sprite you like and Scratch will create it as a new sprite in your game.
Cliquez sur « surprise » pour insérer au hasard un sprite dans la scène.
Click on “Upload Sprite” to add a sprite in the scene of images stored in the storage media (hard disk, CD, Flash disk, etc.).
